The referee showed Abbes Boukensa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abbes Boukensa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Abdellatif Bouteflika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Benamar Mazi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Scofton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoubir Bachdjerrah to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Scofton's Achour Soltani got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Akwli Hamrouche sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdul Kheyari skillfully saved the ball. Yazid Abdenouz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismet El Ouafi in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match, Ismet El Ouafi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yazid Abdenouz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Scofton getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fayçal Zerara hit a great ball. Scofton's Abdul Kheyari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benamar Mazi in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benamar Mazi in the 45th minute of play forced Scofton's goalkeeper Abdul Kheyari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bembridge FC booed when Scofton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoubir Bachdjerrah didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benamar Mazi made a kick off. In the 59th minute Benamar Mazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Kheyari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bembridge FC's Yazid Abdenouz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismet El Ouafi in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Bembridge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdallah Bencheikh to maneuver through the defense. Ahmis Saïd-Guerni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ismet El Ouafi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abdellatif Bouteflika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Benamar Mazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Kheyari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdellatif Bouteflika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Abdenouz having to interfere. When Ismet El Ouafi came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Scofton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismet El Ouafi couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Bembridge FC's Abdul Kheyari threw himself towards the right post 99 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benamar Mazi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Scofton fully deserved thier win.
