Sabri Zeghni charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ilfracombe City's Abderazak Faudel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Bilal Fadhil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milnrow's Houssem Zidane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Antar Bouteflika successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Milnrow's Houssem Zidane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilal Fadhil in the 30th minute of play. Houssem Zidane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abderazak Faudel's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Milnrow's zone, Abderazak Faudel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Houssem Zidane came out of the goal and Abderazak Faudel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelkrim Nasri during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abdelkrim Nasri hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bilal Fadhil to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Abderazak Faudel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milnrow's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Bilal Fadhil scored to the left of an out of position Houssem Zidane, making the score, 0-2. Ilfracombe City's Bilal Fadhil managed to work through Milnrow's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bilal Fadhil dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to Milnrow getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Abdelkrim Nasri hit a great ball. In the 79th match minute, Ilfracombe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayache Belaout to maneuver through the defense. Milnrow's Semah Amirèche couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ilfracombe City. Mamaar Diafat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bilal Fadhil in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Houssem Zidane saved Milnrow from getting behind. In the 96th match minute, Milnrow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amdegh Medaci to maneuver through the defense. Ilfracombe City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
