If Slimane Cohen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stockport City's Mahmoud Mimoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hani Abdelmoumene in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Guernsey got a freekick which was hit by Madjid Kraouche. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Madjid Kraouche during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guernsey's Yunes Arif got a free kick in the 21st minute. Mokhtar Arouaba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Mahmoud Mimoun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Guernsey booed when Stockport City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakhdar Foughali didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the last second Mahmoud Mimoun throw himself and got hold of the ball when Slimane Cohen in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mahmoud Mimoun made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Mokhtar Arouaba sent off a good shot on target. Madjid Kraouche kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Stockport City got a corner. Guernsey's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anwa Mzali ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Dylan Mekloufi to score against Hamid Drari in Guernsey's goal. 0-1 after 38 minutes. Guernsey's Hamid Drari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayna Rodesli in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Bayna Rodesli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Guernsey players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stockport City were winning 0-1.

Mahmoud Mimoun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Slimane Cohen's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When Slimane Cohen fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guernsey's protests and gave Slimane Cohen a yellow card for diving instead. Slimane Cohen hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Guernsey's Hamid Drari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Guernsey from getting a goal against them. Hamid Drari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdeldjalil Merah in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Slimane Cohen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahmoud Mimoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Abdeldjalil Merah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bayna Rodesli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Hamid Drari when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hamid Drari had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Anwa Mzali's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Hamid Drari came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Stockport City's Anwa Mzali. But to his dismay, Anwa Mzali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Abdellatif Benbitour charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdellatif Benbitour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mokhtar Arouaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slimane Cohen in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahmoud Mimoun saved Stockport City from getting behind. Bayna Rodesli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Hamid Drari made a huge save. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guernsey's goalkeeper Hamid Drari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stockport City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
