It was Haider Hindi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Haider Hindi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rafik Bendjedid quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 45thth minute of the game Mounir Bella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guisborough's Hicham Medhaoui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Hicham Medhaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mounir Bella in the 85th minute of play. Issan Hamani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rafik Bendjedid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hicham Medhaoui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mounir Bella's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
