Akatelaji Ahmed might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hicham Medhaoui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Akatelaji Ahmed ran back to his position shaking his head. Abdellah Zemmam struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Hicham Medhaoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northwood FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Issan Hamani in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ifthen Moussa saved Northwood FC from getting behind. If Abdulhamid Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdulhamid Kourichi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ifthen Moussa having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Guisborough's Issan Hamani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ifthen Moussa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Ghiles Boudiaf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Issan Hamani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guisborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Issan Hamani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ifthen Moussa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Issan Hamani in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Issan Hamani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guisborough's supporters rose to their feet, but Issan Hamani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ifthen Moussa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Issan Hamani made a precise shot to the right of Ifthen Moussa. Northwood FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdellah Zemmam to make the kick off. Hicham Medhaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdellah Zemmam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ifthen Moussa was a little too slow when Issan Hamani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-2. After some careless play in the Northwood FC defense, Issan Hamani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ifthen Moussa. The Northwood FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ifthen Moussa should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdulhamid Kourichi during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Guisborough got a freekick which was hit by Abdulhamid Kourichi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdellah Zemmam in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hicham Medhaoui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Akatelaji Ahmed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Youssef Abdelkrim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Abdellah Zemmam made a precise shot to the right of Hicham Medhaoui. Guisborough's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Hicham Medhaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdellah Zemmam in the 96th minute of the match.
