Spectators: 6756 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Atmane Menad started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bridlington FC's Amar Beaufort fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Calverley City's goal looked a bit too open when Amar Beaufort came free, but Abdel Kazi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelmalek Saboundji kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Calverley City booed when Bridlington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gebril Canhadja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atmane Menad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aissa Hammad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abdul Ferrah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Calverley City's Badr Arouani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aissa Hammad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atmane Menad in the 34th minute of play forced Bridlington FC's goalkeeper Aissa Hammad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Badr Arouani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Ziane Gharnati suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 40 minutes of play Bridlington FC's Boughera Kholt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 41st match minute, Bridlington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boughera Kholt to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Bridlington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Badr Arouani came free, but Aissa Hammad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdul Ferrah was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Calverley City's zone, Amar Beaufort stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Kazi came out of the goal and Amar Beaufort tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bridlington FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Amar Beaufort hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bridlington FC's Rabah Bachdjerrah got a free kick in the 57th minute. A collision led to Calverley City getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Arkam Semghoun hit a great ball. Badr Arouani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Houd Aouni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calverley City's supporters rose to their feet, but Houd Aouni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aissa Hammad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the game, Badr Arouani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aissa Hammad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdul Ferrah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Abdel Kazi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abdul Ferrah came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Bridlington FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdul Ferrah couldn't finish the play. After 82 played minutes Calverley City got a freekick which was hit by Atmane Menad. Abdul Ferrah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amar Beaufort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdul Ferrah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abdul Ferrah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Houd Aouni fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calverley City's protests and gave Houd Aouni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Calverley City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Houd Aouni to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Calverley City's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Ferrah came free, but Abdel Kazi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Badr Arouani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calverley City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Badr Arouani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Calverley City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calverley City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
