Annscroft's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camberwell FC the free kick. If Abdelbassir Abdelmoumene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelkader Boumedienne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahmoud Allam in the 14th minute of play. When Dylan Malek fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camberwell FC's protests and gave Dylan Malek a yellow card for diving instead. Zoubir Yachir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mahmoud Allam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Camberwell FC's goalkeeper Abdelkader Boumedienne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoubir Yachir. Ayache Beloufa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Afdal Tahar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Annscroft's Zoubir Yachir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdelkader Boumedienne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ayache Beloufa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Afdal Tahar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Camberwell FC booed when Annscroft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yassine Djura didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Camberwell FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ramzy Lemoui hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Zoubir Yachir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Annscroft's Zoubir Yachir got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zoubir Yachir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mahmoud Allam to make the kick off. Camberwell FC's Abdelkader Boumedienne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoubir Yachir in the 55th minute of play. Abdelkader Boumedienne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmoud Allam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Camberwell FC's Abdelbassir Abdelmoumene sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afdal Tahar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramzy Lemoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelbassir Abdelmoumene might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afdal Tahar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdelbassir Abdelmoumene ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelbassir Abdelmoumene got free with Afdal Tahar in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Annscroft's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
