Ammar El Moubarek didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Curdridge's Tayeb Fillali shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Rayan Tannoudji tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Soltani Hima saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rayan Tannoudji kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Soltani Hima. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. Malek Ziani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tayeb Fillali made a kick off. Southport's Ammar El Moubarek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Southport from getting a goal against them. When Sammy Gaouaoui fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southport's protests and gave Sammy Gaouaoui a yellow card for diving instead. Tayeb Fillali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ammar El Moubarek having to interfere. Tayeb Fillali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ammar El Moubarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Malek Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Curdridge's goal looked a bit too open when Rayan Tannoudji came free, but Soltani Hima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Ismaïl Allahoum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ammar El Moubarek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kateb Heddou in the 90th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
