After a rather tough play, Braunton's Ibrahim Temmam got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute Abderrahmane Mazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Sermadji saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Farid Sermadji showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abderrahmane Mazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Abderrahmane Mazi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Farid Sermadji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jawed Kharroubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Jawed Kharroubi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paull's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jawed Kharroubi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braunton's Farid Sermadji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderrahmane Mazi in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Chabane Badis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jawad Djaghloul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelatif Brahmia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rahal Belloumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Farid Sermadji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abderrahmane Mazi to strike the kick off in the second half. Jawed Kharroubi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Farid Sermadji made a huge save. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paull! Bahi Djebar walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The attack was good, but when Abderrahmane Mazi in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jawed Kharroubi took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farid Sermadji. Farid Sermadji dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 71st minute, Idir Bruel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rayan Zaâmoum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, Rahal Belloumi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rayan Zaâmoum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jawad Djaghloul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rayan Zaâmoum's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Abdelatif Brahmia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zahi Madouni fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paull's protests and gave Zahi Madouni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Paull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zahi Madouni to maneuver through the defense. Paull's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
