A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Brighouse FC's goalkeeper Fayssal Boukirat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chafik Meriem. Fayssal Boukirat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abdelkader Touati showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brighouse FC's Bachir Matmour got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jawed Mami came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Brighouse FC's Abdallah Kensi. But to his dismay, Abdallah Kensi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Chafik Meriem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fayssal Boukirat having to interfere. Brighouse FC's Fayssal Boukirat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Brighouse FC from getting a goal against them. Bazil Kouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chafik Meriem got free with Fayssal Boukirat in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Abdallah Kensi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brighouse FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdallah Kensi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jawed Mami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adil Djaadaoui to make the kick off. Abdallah Kensi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jawed Mami having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Chafik Meriem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brighouse FC's Fayssal Boukirat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adil Djaadaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fayssal Boukirat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkader Touati, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When High Coniscliffe City's Abdelkader Touati in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brighouse FC's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the match, High Coniscliffe City's Chafik Meriem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fayssal Boukirat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fayssal Boukirat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chafik Meriem's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Bazil Kouri's late challenge caught a Brighouse FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bazil Kouri helped the player get up and apologised. Bazil Kouri kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When High Coniscliffe City's Chafik Meriem in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 92nd minute Abdelkader Touati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fayssal Boukirat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abbes Nekkar fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brighouse FC's protests and gave Abbes Nekkar a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelkader Touati in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fayssal Boukirat saved Brighouse FC from getting behind. Fayssal Boukirat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chafik Meriem in the 98th minute of play.
