If Kader Kholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amdegh Bouteflika in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karim Cherrad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Lancaster FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hikmet Rezkallah hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Cheshunt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malik Benzine to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Lancaster FC's Kassel Kermali tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkarim Soltani in the 21st minute of play forced Cheshunt's goalkeeper Abdelmoumène Ounissi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lyes Dhyab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Lancaster FC got a freekick which was hit by Zine-Eddine Embarek. In the 33rd minute of the match Malik Benzine sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karim Cherrad skillfully saved the ball. Kader Kholt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Karim Cherrad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Abdelkarim Soltani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelmoumène Ounissi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Ouali Cherif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match, Amdegh Bouteflika got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karim Cherrad was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kader Kholt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Cherrad having to interfere. Amdegh Bouteflika succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 68th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Lancaster FC's zone, Amdegh Bouteflika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Cherrad came out of the goal and Amdegh Bouteflika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelmoumène Ounissi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lyes Dhyab's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Amdegh Bouteflika had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karim Cherrad. Lancaster FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amdegh Bouteflika was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Lancaster FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hikmet Rezkallah hit a great ball. Karim Cherrad came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Cheshunt's Kader Kholt. But to his dismay, Kader Kholt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Abdelmoumène Ounissi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyes Dhyab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheshunt's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
