Cheikh Benmabrouk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferhat Al-Jazairia's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Ferhat Al-Jazairia struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cheikh Benmabrouk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ironville AFC. Ferhat Al-Jazairia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Penzance's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhat Al-Jazairia came free, but Cheikh Benmabrouk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Laïd Messali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penzance and the Ironville AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Penzance got a freekick which was hit by Laïd Messali. Ferhat Al-Jazairia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cheikh Benmabrouk having to make a save. Laïd Messali hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ironville AFC's Slimane Meriem tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Penzance players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ironville AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferhat Al-Jazairia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Penzance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mouloud Amirèche to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ironville AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ferhat Al-Jazairia hit a great ball. Makhlouf Arif hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Penzance's Cheikh Benmabrouk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhat Al-Jazairia in the 59th minute of play. Sid Ali Hamyane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cheikh Benmabrouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferhat Al-Jazairia, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ironville AFC's Abdellatif Gourion got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amine Gharnati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rochdi Aïssaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Idir Kosbi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. Ironville AFC's Slimane Meriem couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Penzance. Abdellatif Gourion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cheikh Benmabrouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdellatif Gourion might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cheikh Benmabrouk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdellatif Gourion ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Penzance's goalkeeper Cheikh Benmabrouk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sid Ali Hamyane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rochdi Aïssaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Abdellatif Gourion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
