Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdenour Zaâmoum started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moïse Belhocine in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mouloud Canhadja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mohamed Deghmani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdenour Zaâmoum, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wadebridge's zone, Antar Benchenaa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Deghmani came out of the goal and Antar Benchenaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdenour Zaâmoum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohamed Deghmani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Antar Benchenaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matlock City's supporters rose to their feet, but Antar Benchenaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Deghmani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mohamed Deghmani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdenour Zaâmoum in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdenour Zaâmoum in the 28th minute of play forced Wadebridge's goalkeeper Mohamed Deghmani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moïse Belhocine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthar Rodesli spun around in front of the goal 35 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Matlock City's goal. In the 36th minute Moïse Belhocine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mouloud Canhadja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match Bechir Tannoudji sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mouloud Canhadja skillfully saved the ball. If Anthar Rodesli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Wadebridge's Moïse Belhocine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mouloud Canhadja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthar Rodesli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abdenour Zaâmoum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Deghmani having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Matlock City got a freekick which was hit by Anther Fochtali. Wadebridge's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 59th minute of the game, when Bechir Tannoudji after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Matlock City's goal. Bechir Tannoudji was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 63rd minute Anthar Rodesli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mouloud Canhadja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthar Rodesli in the 70th minute of play forced Matlock City's goalkeeper Mouloud Canhadja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Matlock City's Mouloud Canhadja got control of the ball when Moïse Belhocine tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Moïse Belhocine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wadebridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moïse Belhocine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Anthar Rodesli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mouloud Canhadja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Matlock City booed when Wadebridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahboub Djamel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matlock City's Tahar Achoui suffered a fractured collar bone after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Nadji Amri's late challenge caught a Matlock City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nadji Amri helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wadebridge's Nadji Amri got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Matlock City's Mebarek Zemmouri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Antar Benchenaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Matlock City's goal looked a bit too open when Anthar Rodesli came free, but Mouloud Canhadja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Wadebridge players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
