Hamid Bedrina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antar Benguesmia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelghafour Bencheikh in the 11th minute of play forced Great Lumley's goalkeeper Idriss Salhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Idriss Salhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toufik Bouzeghrane, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Abdelghafour Bencheikh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toufik Bouzeghrane in the 20th minute of play forced Great Lumley's goalkeeper Idriss Salhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Hamid Bedrina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toufik Bouzeghrane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idriss Salhi having to interfere. Potters Bar's Antar Benguesmia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bouzid Douibi in the 28th minute of play. Idriss Salhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toufik Bouzeghrane in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Potters Bar's Lazhar Belmellat seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lazhar Belmellat the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Potters Bar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lazhar Belmellat had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Potters Bar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Bouzid Douibi scored to the left of an out of position Antar Benguesmia, making the score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdelghafour Bencheikh made a kick off. Antar Benguesmia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacer-Eddine Embarek in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Bouzid Douibi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Lumley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bouzid Douibi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Great Lumley's Bouzid Douibi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antar Benguesmia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Potters Bar's Antar Benguesmia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Bedrina in the 71st minute of play. When Abdelghafour Bencheikh came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Potters Bar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelghafour Bencheikh couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the game, Youssef Dziri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Great Lumley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potters Bar the free kick. After 75 minutes of play, Potters Bar's Abdelghafour Bencheikh made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Idriss Salhi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Younes El Ouazzani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Bedrina in the 86th minute of play forced Potters Bar's goalkeeper Antar Benguesmia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bouzid Douibi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Seddik Benguergoura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Great Lumley's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
