Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) Verwood's Fayssal Adjimi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chadli Khorci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilyes Banouas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Malik Ulansi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Redruth AFC booed when Verwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farid Asma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malik Ulansi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilyes Banouas in the 12th minute of the match. When Djafar Zouccal fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redruth AFC's protests and gave Djafar Zouccal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Djafar Zouccal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mekki Mouzaoui, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A hard shot 22 in the game by Chadli Khorci from a close distance when the talented Abed Saadane managed to make a qualified save. Redruth AFC's players were relieved. A collision led to Redruth AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Djafar Zouccal hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Redruth AFC defense, Chadli Khorci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abed Saadane. The Redruth AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abed Saadane should have stopped the shot. When Chadli Khorci, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Abed Saadane was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fayssal Adjimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abed Saadane was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Thelma Abbas. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zinedine Menia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ilyes Banouas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Verwood's goalkeeper Malik Ulansi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilyes Banouas. Thelma Abbas charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thelma Abbas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Verwood getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Thelma Abbas hit a great ball. Malik Ulansi made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ilyes Banouas sent off a good shot on target. Redruth AFC's Zinedine Menia got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Noureddine Attaf had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. During the 72nd minute of the match Djafar Zouccal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Djafar Zouccal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th minute, Djafar Zouccal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fayssal Adjimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abed Saadane having to interfere. Malik Ulansi came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Redruth AFC's Ilyes Banouas. But to his dismay, Ilyes Banouas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 95 minutes, Chadli Khorci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chadli Khorci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
