An unexpectedly hard shot by Amine Cherif in the 3rd minute of play forced Ferryton's goalkeeper Akim Bahari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akawel Bensaïd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Slimane Menad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Akawel Bensaïd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mounir Chedda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akim Bahari was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Slimane Menad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akawel Bensaïd having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Slimane Menad was the one to do the kick off. Mounir Chedda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Akim Bahari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Mounir Chedda struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Akim Bahari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alderley Edge City. With a little luck, Alderley Edge City's Akawel Bensaïd got control of the ball when Karim Saïdani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Akawel Bensaïd made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Karim Saïdani sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Alderley Edge City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Slimane Menad fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Alderley Edge City's Akawel Bensaïd got control of the ball when Karim Saïdani tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rabie Raïs during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alderley Edge City booed when Ferryton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabie Raïs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes Ferryton got a freekick which was hit by Stéphane Djenoui. The Alderley Edge City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ferryton's performance. The match ended with a win for Ferryton.
