After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sayed Bouzid to strike the kick off in the second half. Yacine Zenati blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Achik Saïd having to make a save. After 53 played minutes Croston got a freekick which was hit by Adid Nasri. After having played for 56 minutes, Nadji Amraoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mitcham United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nadji Amraoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Mitcham United's Samir Camus got control of the ball when Ishak Maâti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Achik Saïd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yacine Zenati's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The supporters of Mitcham United booed when Croston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nawfel Damardji didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes in the game, Ishak Maâti fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Samir Camus having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mitcham United's Samir Camus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sayed Bouzid in the 81st minute of play. Samir Camus made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ishak Maâti sent off a good shot on target. Samir Camus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adid Nasri went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Mitcham United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Croston's performance. The match ended with a win for Croston.
