Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Workington United's Kamel Kourichi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Mouloud Hasni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Workington United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mouloud Hasni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trowell City's Said Dridi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamel Kourichi in the 5th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Trowell City got a freekick which was hit by Merouane Dridi. Bendjedid Chadli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madhi Halouadji, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Workington United's zone, Abbes Djaout stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bendjedid Chadli came out of the goal and Abbes Djaout tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th match minute, Trowell City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abbes Djaout to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Trowell City's zone, Kamel Kourichi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Said Dridi came out of the goal and Kamel Kourichi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Said Dridi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Kourichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abderrahmane Diss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bendjedid Chadli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32nd play minutes Abbes Djaout shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bendjedid Chadli and just under the crossbar into goal. Trowell City's Habib Saci got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habib Saci in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bendjedid Chadli saved Workington United from getting behind. Riad Fetani hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Bendjedid Chadli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habib Saci in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Workington United's Mouloud Hasni got a free kick in the 44th minute. Abbes Djaout's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bendjedid Chadli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Bendjedid Chadli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abbes Djaout, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Abbes Djaout came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Trowell City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abbes Djaout couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Trowell City's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Kourichi came free, but Said Dridi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trowell City's Said Dridi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamel Kourichi in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Riad Fetani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Abbes Djaout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bendjedid Chadli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Habib Saci's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Mouloud Hasni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Workington United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mouloud Hasni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Abderrahmane Diss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Habib Saci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bendjedid Chadli having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Workington United's goal looked a bit too open when Abbes Djaout came free, but Bendjedid Chadli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rayane Kafi charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rayane Kafi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, Workington United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rayane Kafi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Abbes Djaout managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trowell City's supporters rose to their feet, but Abbes Djaout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bendjedid Chadli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mouloud Hasni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Workington United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trowell City's performance. The match ended with a win for Trowell City.
