Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kader Mezghich in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karim Sahraoui saved Sutton on Sea from getting behind. In the 12th minute Abbes Djaout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Sahraoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Sutton on Sea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mimoun Boumabadji to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 13 minutes, Abbes Djaout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trowell City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abbes Djaout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Habib Saci got free with Karim Sahraoui in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abbes Djaout kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Raouf Zemmamouche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said Dridi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhak Lourdjane in the 24th minute of play forced Trowell City's goalkeeper Said Dridi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sutton on Sea's Karim Sahraoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbes Djaout in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Sutton on Sea's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Habib Saci fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Abdelhak Lourdjane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Said Dridi was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. A collision led to Trowell City getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Kader Mezghich hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Raouf Zemmamouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Said Dridi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelhak Lourdjane in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Said Dridi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Sutton on Sea were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelhak Lourdjane was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhak Lourdjane in the 58th minute of play forced Trowell City's goalkeeper Said Dridi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Habib Saci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Karim Sahraoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abbes Djaout scored 1-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karim Sahraoui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sutton on Sea's Abdelhak Lourdjane got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Raouf Zemmamouche came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sutton on Sea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raouf Zemmamouche couldn't finish the play. Merouane Dridi charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merouane Dridi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Trowell City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merouane Dridi to maneuver through the defense. Habib Saci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Sahraoui having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sutton on Sea eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
