In the 13th minute, Afennich Djaadaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khalil Chadli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mostafa Medjiba in the 15th minute of play. Afennich Djaadaoui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chokri Boniche having to make a save. When Mostafa Medjiba came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the New Marske fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mostafa Medjiba couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes New Marske got a freekick which was hit by Amad Dhahhak. After 23 minutes, Afennich Djaadaoui made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. New Marske's Chokri Boniche tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdelmalik Segni struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Chokri Boniche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Bromwich. Afennich Djaadaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chokri Boniche having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, West Bromwich's Afennich Djaadaoui made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chokri Boniche was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th of the match, Abdelmalik Segni tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Chokri Boniche got in the way and made a wonderful save. Khalil Chadli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amad Dhahhak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amad Dhahhak made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Amad Dhahhak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Bromwich's Khalil Chadli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Abdelghafour Nasri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Bromwich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Marske the free kick. A collision led to West Bromwich getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Abdelghafour Nasri hit a great ball. Mostafa Medjiba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of New Marske booed when West Bromwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelghafour Nasri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mostafa Medjiba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Khalil Chadli made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amad Dhahhak in the 60th minute of play forced West Bromwich's goalkeeper Khalil Chadli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Afennich Djaadaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amad Dhahhak came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the New Marske fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amad Dhahhak couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Afennich Djaadaoui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1.
