Abderaouf Zafour received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hilal Bella came out and tried to block the shot, but Abderaouf Zafour slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute, Abdallah Zerguelaine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Rabah Zidane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Girton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wheaton Aston United the free kick. A collision led to Girton getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rabah Zidane hit a great ball. Alsan Mouzaoui was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Girton's Hilal Bella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alsan Mouzaoui in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Girton's Adrir Benhelal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdelmoumen Tellidji was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrir Benhelal struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Abdelmoumen Tellidji didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Girton. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Girton! The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alsan Mouzaoui was the one to do the kick off. Mounaim Lamine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Mounaim Lamine recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdelmoumen Tellidji. Mounaim Lamine showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Mounaim Lamine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelmoumen Tellidji having to interfere. Hilal Bella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alsan Mouzaoui's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Zahir El Maleh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wheaton Aston United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Girton the free kick. Affi Zaghloul shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Redha Hansali, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alsan Mouzaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilal Bella having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
