Lout Deghmani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Fodil Sennaoui made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Swanley's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Massi came free, but Fodil Sennaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faouzi Gaddouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ghanim Radjef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustapha Dahleb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daoud Deriassa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mustapha Dahleb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ghanim Radjef was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Bani Benguesmia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Sennaoui having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lout Deghmani to strike the kick off in the second half. Swanley's Fodil Sennaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lout Deghmani in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Kettering AFC booed when Swanley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Metaref didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lout Deghmani struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Fodil Sennaoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kettering AFC. Kettering AFC's Ghanim Radjef proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Kettering AFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faouzi Gaddouch in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ghanim Radjef saved Kettering AFC from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Kettering AFC's goalkeeper Ghanim Radjef had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustapha Dahleb. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
