Yassine Guendouz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmer Green. The audience was convinced that Abdellah Sadi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yassine Guendouz was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half Holmer Green were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Yacoub Sellami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yassine Guendouz having to make a save. Hafid Madjer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdellah Sadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yacoub Sellami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Yassine Guendouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Hafid Madjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khaled Mezghich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mokhtar Akvayli took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khaled Mezghich. Khaled Mezghich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Yassine Guendouz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yacoub Sellami in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Holmer Green's goal looked a bit too open when Mokhtar Akvayli came free, but Khaled Mezghich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Holmer Green's Yacoub Sellami ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yassine Guendouz. Yassine Guendouz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Taha Hadjar charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taha Hadjar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sutton Valence United getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Taha Hadjar hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
