In the 27th match minute, Steeple Claydon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Assad Larbes to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kylian Allam to make the kick off. Afalawas Belmadi's late challenge caught a Steeple Claydon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Helston United's Hassen Assam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarek Guellil in the 96th minute of play. Hassen Assam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oualid Guessoum in the 98th minute of play.
