Purfleet's Kylian Belhouche couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Burnley. A collision led to Burnley getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Adza Laura Douibi hit a great ball. When Burnley's Farid Reda in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Purfleet's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd match minute, Purfleet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hassan Sabati to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Farid Reda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Farid Reda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yassine Sifi during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Burnley! In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Purfleet. Kylian Belhouche stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Khelifa Larbi. 0-1. After the first half Purfleet were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Khaldoun Ramdani to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rachid Menad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farid Reda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismaïl Benmabrouk having to make a save. Ismaïl Benmabrouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farid Reda, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Khaldoun Ramdani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Khelifa Larbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Ouadah took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khelifa Larbi. Khelifa Larbi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Purfleet getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nawfel Fergani hit a great ball. Ismaïl Benmabrouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Menad, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Khelifa Larbi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khaldoun Ramdani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Burnley booed when Purfleet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelmadjid Belhadj didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Burnley's Nadim Benyoucef got a free kick in the 81st minute. Omar Menad's late challenge caught a Burnley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Menad helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Menad in the 86th minute of play forced Purfleet's goalkeeper Ismaïl Benmabrouk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khelifa Larbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaldoun Ramdani in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Burnley's Farid Reda fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head.
