Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hocine Zeghni kicked off to start the match. Abdallah Zaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rochdi Mezali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yazid Messaoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nouh Haddadj having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Mimoun Beloufa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Abdallah Zaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mimoun Beloufa in the 14th minute of play. Afaghis Belhocine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nouh Haddadj having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yazid Messaoudi got free with Nouh Haddadj in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdallah Zaoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rochdi Mezali, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Mimoun Beloufa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fergani Mekhloufi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambridge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fergani Mekhloufi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdallah Zaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th match minute, Bacup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amar Fahima to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Mimoun Beloufa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambridge FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mimoun Beloufa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Hocine Zeghni lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Nouh Haddadj. If Rochdi Mezali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mimoun Beloufa made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akram Belghiche during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute Hocine Zeghni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nouh Haddadj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raïd Moussa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Saber Zeghni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thelma Lkbira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Abdallah Zaoui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rochdi Mezali in the 71st minute. Rochdi Mezali received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abdallah Zaoui came out and tried to block the shot, but Rochdi Mezali slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 73rd minute. If Mimoun Beloufa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hocine Zeghni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nouh Haddadj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Cambridge FC got a freekick which was hit by Saber Zeghni. The Bacup supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cambridge FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cambridge FC.
