Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Bacup's Hocine Zeghni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Redruth's Rami Djaghloul in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bacup's goalie prevented a goal. In the 5th minute Hocine Zeghni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madhil Iles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Messaoudi in the 6th minute of play forced Redruth's goalkeeper Madhil Iles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sofiane Moussa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Redruth's Rami Djaghloul got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yazid Messaoudi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Amar Fahima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redruth the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sofiane Moussa got free with Abdallah Zaoui in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Bacup booed when Redruth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salaheddine Camus didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rami Djaghloul in the 32nd minute of play forced Bacup's goalkeeper Abdallah Zaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Redruth's Sofiane Moussa got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Yazid Messaoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bacup's zone, Sofiane Moussa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdallah Zaoui came out of the goal and Sofiane Moussa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rami Djaghloul made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Rami Djaghloul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdallah Zaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Sofiane Moussa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdallah Zaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofiane Moussa in the 73rd minute of the match. Sofiane Moussa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sofiane Moussa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Abdallah Zaoui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redruth. Bacup's Abdallah Zaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rami Djaghloul in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
