Spectators: 6745 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sabri El Ounès started the match with the kick off. Sabri El Ounès sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bekathen Souakri in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giss Baltadji saved Shrewsbury from getting behind. After 5 played minutes Shrewsbury got a freekick which was hit by Hicham Zenia. The audience was convinced that Samir Zafour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mebarek Oulhaci was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When Samir Zafour came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Shrewsbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samir Zafour couldn't finish the play. Giss Baltadji took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bekathen Souakri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sabri El Ounès had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lyazzide Zahouania received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mebarek Oulhaci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Amar Zane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shrewsbury the free kick. Amar Zane kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Zafour in the 32nd minute of play forced Cove's goalkeeper Mebarek Oulhaci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shrewsbury's goalkeeper Giss Baltadji, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Cove's Mebarek Oulhaci got control of the ball when Lyazzide Zahouania tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shrewsbury's Samir Zafour got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samir Zafour to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cove's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adid Zeghbouche was slow to take the kick. During this time Shrewsbury's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Adid Zeghbouche got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mebarek Oulhaci quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 57th minute, Sabri El Ounès reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giss Baltadji. The goal made the score 0-1. Mohamed El Kettani hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Bekathen Souakri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giss Baltadji having to interfere. Bekathen Souakri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mebarek Oulhaci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyazzide Zahouania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azzouz Selmi charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Azzouz Selmi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giss Baltadji acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ahmed Guerrache. Cove's Mebarek Oulhaci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samir Zafour in the 83rd minute of play. When Shrewsbury's Samir Zafour in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cove's goalie prevented a goal. If Dassi Harkat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cove eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
