Spectators: 6741 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Samir Zafour kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Redruth's goal looked a bit too open when Lyazzide Zahouania came free, but Hameur Dahmane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute Lyazzide Zahouania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hameur Dahmane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lyazzide Zahouania came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Shrewsbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyazzide Zahouania couldn't finish the play. Hameur Dahmane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samir Zafour in the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Idras Hamdoud got free with Giss Baltadji in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hameur Dahmane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Zafour in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Samir Zafour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lyazzide Zahouania's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hameur Dahmane was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Shrewsbury's goal looked a bit too open when Salah Hindi came free, but Giss Baltadji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Idras Hamdouds short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Giss Baltadji to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Redouane Hamrouche charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Redouane Hamrouche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Shrewsbury got a freekick which was hit by Redouane Hamrouche. Giss Baltadji made an important save on a dangerous shot by Idras Hamdoud in the 33rd minute. Idras Hamdoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Samir Zafour ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hameur Dahmane was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 41 played minutes Shrewsbury got a freekick which was hit by Hicham Zenia. Giss Baltadji took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salah Hindi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salah Hindi to strike the kick off in the second half. Shrewsbury's Giss Baltadji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Hindi in the 53rd minute of play. Hameur Dahmane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samir Zafour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samir Zafour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hameur Dahmane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Zafour in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salah Hindi in the 66th minute of play forced Shrewsbury's goalkeeper Giss Baltadji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Salah Hindi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salah Hindi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Redouane Hamrouche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Redruth's goal looked a bit too open when Samir Zafour came free, but Hameur Dahmane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match Adid Zeghbouche sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hameur Dahmane skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Shrewsbury booed when Redruth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelghafour Faudel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th match minute, Redruth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anouar Matmour to maneuver through the defense. Anouar Matmour's late challenge caught a Shrewsbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anouar Matmour helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Redruth getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Anouar Matmour hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Shrewsbury's Adid Zeghbouche broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Shrewsbury's goal looked a bit too open when Salah Hindi came free, but Giss Baltadji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyazzide Zahouania recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdelghafour Faudel charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelghafour Faudel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Samir Zafour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shrewsbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Samir Zafour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hameur Dahmane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Shrewsbury had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
