Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) Cove's Sabri El Ounès started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ziad Rodesli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mebarek Oulhaci having to interfere. If Sabri El Ounès had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bekathen Souakri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daoud Ziani having to make a save. A hard shot 14 in the game by Bekathen Souakri from a close distance when the talented Daoud Ziani managed to make a qualified save. Walcote City's players were relieved. In the 19th match minute, Walcote City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziad Rodesli to maneuver through the defense. Bekathen Souakri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Daoud Ziani made a huge save. Daoud Ziani was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ahmed Guerrache. When Abdallah Horr fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walcote City's protests and gave Abdallah Horr a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Walcote City getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Abdallah Horr hit a great ball. In the 41st minute of the match Ahmed Guerrache shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daoud Ziani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ziad Rodesli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Djamel Benali stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cove getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ahmed Guerrache hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Dassi Harkat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walcote City the free kick. Dassi Harkat hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Daoud Ziani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cove. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bekathen Souakri in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daoud Ziani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sabri El Ounès sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cove's Bekathen Souakri got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cove's Dassi Harkat got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Dassi Harkat off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cove's Dassi Harkat got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Mebarek Oulhaci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamel Benali in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th play minute Ziad Rodesli came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mebarek Oulhaci. 0-1. The Cove supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Walcote City's performance. The match ended with a win for Walcote City.
