Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Djamel Benali took the kick off in the first half of the match. Djamel Benali might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hameur Dahmane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Djamel Benali ran back to his position shaking his head. Hameur Dahmane made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Ziad Rodesli sent off a good shot on target. Djamel Benali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hameur Dahmane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Redruth's goalkeeper Hameur Dahmane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ziad Rodesli. After some careless play in the Walcote City defense, Idras Hamdoud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daoud Ziani. The Walcote City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daoud Ziani should have stopped the shot. Walcote City's Daoud Ziani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Hindi in the 33rd minute of play. Ziad Rodesli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hameur Dahmane having to interfere. Daoud Ziani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salah Hindi went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ziad Rodesli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Redruth were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salah Hindi made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Djamel Benali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salim Merdaci hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Hameur Dahmane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziad Rodesli in the 61st minute of play. If Djamel Benali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Djamel Benali during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Djamel Benali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Salah Hindi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redruth's supporters rose to their feet, but Salah Hindi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daoud Ziani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Djamel Benali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djamel Benali was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Djamel Benali hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Salah Hindi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Idras Hamdoud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Daoud Ziani made a huge save. After having played for 84 minutes, Ziad Rodesli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walcote City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziad Rodesli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hafs El Annabi came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Walcote City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hafs El Annabi couldn't finish the play. Ziad Rodesli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hameur Dahmane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, one of Walcote City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Walcote City. Ziad Rodesli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelghafour Faudel's late challenge caught a Walcote City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelghafour Faudel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Redruth getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Abdelghafour Faudel hit a great ball. The Redruth players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
