If Fahim Cixous had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Fahim Cixous made the kick off in the second half. Sabri Benyagoub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salah Taha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Said Sadaoui got free with Dylan Boubekeur in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 played minutes, Whitechapel City's Aydril Driouche shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sabri Benyagoub came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Whitechapel City reached it. The audience was convinced that Fahim Cixous's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylan Boubekeur was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honiton FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Whitechapel City.
