To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Smail Sellami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. St Johns Wood United's Mustapha Mzali got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amellal Nabil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustapha Mzali, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Yacine Al-Jazairia hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Abdelmalek Lkbira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mouloud Raho having to make a save. If Smail Sellami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amellal Nabil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Smail Sellami, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamid Bachdjerrah during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Knapton getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Hamid Bachdjerrah hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Hocine Matmour was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. St Johns Wood United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knapton the free kick. In the 44th match minute, St Johns Wood United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hocine Matmour to maneuver through the defense. If Hadi Zaâmoucha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Smail Sellami made a kick off. Mustapha Mzali struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Smail Sellami got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in St Johns Wood United's zone, Abdelmalek Lkbira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mouloud Raho came out of the goal and Abdelmalek Lkbira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustapha Mzali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouloud Raho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelmalek Lkbira, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Amellal Nabil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Smail Sellami in the 94th minute of play. St Johns Wood United's Mustapha Mzali got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
