Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abderrahmane Addi kicked off to start the match. Holloway's Abdelhakim Belmellat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Holloway from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute, Djamel Nabil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Abdulhamid Bensaoula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holloway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulhamid Bensaoula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. North Shields's Nouara Djeballi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulhamid Bensaoula in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelbassir Derrida in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nouara Djeballi saved North Shields from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, North Shields's goal looked a bit too open when Mounir Madouni came free, but Nouara Djeballi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes North Shields got a freekick which was hit by Farid Adjani. Mounir Madouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nouara Djeballi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mounir Madouni in the 32nd minute of play forced North Shields's goalkeeper Nouara Djeballi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faouzi Alemdar struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Abdelhakim Belmellat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Shields. After 40 minutes of play, Holloway's Abdulhamid Bensaoula made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nouara Djeballi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Nouara Djeballi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Farid Adjani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Abdulhamid Bensaoula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilias Fechtali hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Abdulhamid Bensaoula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Abdulhamid Bensaoula took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Nouara Djeballi to make any attempt to save it. Holloway's Abdelhakim Belmellat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderrahmane Addi in the 69th minute of play. Abdelhakim Belmellat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abderrahmane Addi in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Jawed Mokdad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nouara Djeballi skillfully saved the ball. 76 minutes into the match, North Shields's Abderrahmane Addi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdelhakim Belmellat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Holloway's Faouzi Aggoune got a free kick in the 76th minute. Abdelhakim Belmellat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faouzi Alemdar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Abdulhamid Bensaoula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mounir Madouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nouara Djeballi having to interfere. Farid Adjani hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
