But to his dismay, Idir Benyamina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Idir Benyamina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faouzi Hammadouch was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Malik Mecherara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amawal Lelouch, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mohamed Fekhardji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Mecherara having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Noureddine Belbey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malik Mecherara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Fekhardji in the 34th minute of the match. Karim Bouzid kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Salaheddine Amrouni made a precise shot to the right of Malik Mecherara. Halifax AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 46 minutes into the match, Halifax AFC's Akatelaji Zaaf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faouzi Hammadouch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mohamed Fekhardji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. In the 52nd minute, Halifax AFC's Idir Benyamina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faouzi Hammadouch. Faouzi Hammadouch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When Redditch AFC's Mohamed Fekhardji in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idir Benyamina in the 70th minute of play forced Redditch AFC's goalkeeper Faouzi Hammadouch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Redditch AFC's Faouzi Hammadouch got control of the ball when Akatelaji Zaaf tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Idir Benyamina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faouzi Hammadouch was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Halifax AFC's Malik Mecherara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Fekhardji in the 84th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
