After having played for 4 minutes, Said Cavalli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gatwick AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Said Cavalli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 8 minutes Earl Shilton's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ismael Ahmed who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hassan Nabil during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Earl Shilton! Abdessatar Kaci Said had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Ismael Ahmed's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sahrane Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reda Raïs having to interfere. When Earl Shilton's Souad Belloumi in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gatwick AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Sahrane Morceli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belkheir Belkacem kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Sahrane Morceli made a precise shot to the right of Reda Raïs. Gatwick AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 27th minute, Admer Bouguerra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abdessatar Kaci Said. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 35th minute Sahrane Morceli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reda Raïs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Earl Shilton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akar Bachtarzi to maneuver through the defense. Sahrane Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Reda Raïs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Admer Bouguerra made the kick off in the second half. Said Cavalli kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Reda Raïs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Souad Belloumi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdessatar Kaci Said showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Admer Bouguerra in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gatwick AFC's goalkeeper Reda Raïs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 65 minutes, Belkheir Belkacem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gatwick AFC and the Earl Shilton players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute of the match Nasserredine Ahmed shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reda Raïs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sahrane Morceli got free with Reda Raïs in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Souad Belloumi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Said Cavalli scored 2-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdessatar Kaci Said, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sahrane Morceli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Reda Raïs made a huge save. Admer Bouguerra's late challenge caught a Earl Shilton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Admer Bouguerra helped the player get up and apologised. Admer Bouguerra hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Souad Belloumi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reda Raïs having to interfere. In the 89th minute Said Cavalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdessatar Kaci Said saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Earl Shilton's goalkeeper Abdessatar Kaci Said, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Gatwick AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Rezki Benguergoura hit a great ball. Earl Shilton were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Gatwick AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nasserredine Ahmed took the corner. The corner led Earl Shilton's Nasserredine Ahmed to fire away a dangerous shot which Reda Raïs despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Earl Shilton had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
