Ishak Benbitour yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Abou Bakr Bey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Abou Bakr Bey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watlington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abou Bakr Bey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ishak Benbitour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Stalybridge getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Djallal Hanister hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Watlington AFC's Abou Bakr Bey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ishak Benbitour. Ishak Benbitour yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Watlington AFC's Mansour Sakhri got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bakku Messis got free with Ishak Benbitour in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stalybridge's Ishak Benbitour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abou Bakr Bey in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abou Bakr Bey to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Aberkane Meknassa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ishak Benbitour quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th match minute, Stalybridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faouzi Chaib to maneuver through the defense. Ishak Benbitour stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abou Bakr Bey's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Marouane Dennane was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Medjadi Fechtali showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 64 minute of play. Marouane Dennane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hocine Amara went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
