Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zahid Meriem got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Cookham booed when Ash was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jawed Djebar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Akar Rabiâ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zahid Meriem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ghumer Cherrad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cookham's supporters rose to their feet, but Ghumer Cherrad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fares Mammeri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Ash's goalkeeper Fares Mammeri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ghumer Cherrad. In the 18th minute Zahid Meriem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fares Mammeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fares Mammeri made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ghumer Cherrad sent off a good shot on target. If Zahid Meriem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djillali Yenicheri came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ash's Hamza Béchar. But to his dismay, Hamza Béchar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the game, Semah Bezzaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cookham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ash the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cookham's Semah Bezzaz got a free kick in the 39th minute. Djillali Yenicheri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Béchar in the 43rd minute of play. Rayane Benguesmia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Djillali Yenicheri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Nassim Ouadah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cookham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ash the free kick. Nassim Ouadah kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Zahid Meriem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fares Mammeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Zahid Meriem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fares Mammeri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Ghumer Cherrad put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fares Mammeri. After a defensive mix-up in Cookham's zone, Rayane Benguesmia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Djillali Yenicheri came out of the goal and Rayane Benguesmia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the game, Rayane Benguesmia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Djillali Yenicheri. Rayane Benguesmia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. If Zahid Meriem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zahid Meriem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ghumer Cherrad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Ghumer Cherrad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fares Mammeri was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After 92 minutes, Nabil Djenoui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cookham and the Ash players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Cookham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nabil Djenoui to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
