If Islam Adjimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, Upwell United's Islam Adjimi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Farid Madjer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bahi Fergani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brahim Izghen was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Adil Attaf fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some careless play in the Upwell United defense, Tijani Kraouche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brahim Izghen. The Upwell United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brahim Izghen should have stopped the shot. If Islam Adjimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Adil Attaf fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Upwell United's protests and gave Adil Attaf a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Upwell United getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Adil Attaf hit a great ball. Farid Madjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Attaf in the 61st minute of the match. Upwell United's Brahim Izghen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Upwell United from getting a goal against them. Bahi Fergani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Brahim Izghen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brahim Izghen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahi Fergani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brahim Izghen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahi Fergani in the 75th minute. Bazga Matmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Islam Adjimi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farid Madjer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Adil Attaf struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Farid Madjer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Upwell United.
