But to his dismay, Tahar Deghmani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 34 minutes into the game, Rahal Dahleb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romsey AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Docklands AFC the free kick. A collision led to Romsey AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rahal Dahleb hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Nassim Belkacem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romsey AFC's Amdegh Adjimi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salaheddine Sad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amdegh Adjimi having to interfere. If Bilal Mohamed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marouane Sadaoui during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 44 minutes into the game, one of Romsey AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Docklands AFC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Riad Zaghbib, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Romsey AFC's Amdegh Adjimi. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nassim Belkacem to make the kick off. Romsey AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Romsey AFC's Amdegh Adjimi got control of the ball when Salaheddine Sad tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Romsey AFC defense, Salaheddine Sad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amdegh Adjimi. The Romsey AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amdegh Adjimi should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute Nassim Belkacem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amdegh Adjimi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Docklands AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
