Clacton AFC's Ghanim Madani got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Athmane Masmouda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zinedine El Ouafi was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 22 minutes of play, Algerie fc's Buzid Ferrah made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clacton AFC's Ismaïl Zaaf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buzid Ferrah in the 39th minute of play. Zinedine El Ouafi was a little too slow when Athmane Masmouda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Athmane Masmouda was the one to do the kick off. Athmane Masmouda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zinedine El Ouafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
