Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fodil Ouar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Braintree United's Fodil Ouar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 4th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sofiane Benyoucef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Ouar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Fodil Ouar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hicham Amrouche's late challenge caught a Braintree United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hicham Amrouche helped the player get up and apologised. Hicham Amrouche hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Sofiane Benyoucef came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Braintree United's Amine Chadl. But to his dismay, Amine Chadl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Hoddesdon's Hicham Amrouche got a free kick in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Boussad Larfaoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Bitat was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. The Braintree United fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Braintree United's Amine Chadl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute, Mustapha Aggoune hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amine Chadl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Sofiane Benyoucef made a huge save. Sofiane Benyoucef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fodil Ouar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fodil Ouar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hoddesdon booed when Braintree United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustapha Aggoune didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hicham Amrouche to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Braintree United's goal looked a bit too open when Hicham Amrouche came free, but Adam Bitat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Fodil Ouar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofiane Benyoucef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fodil Ouar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sofiane Benyoucef was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Boussad Larfaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Bitat having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Hoddesdon's goal looked a bit too open when Fodil Ouar came free, but Sofiane Benyoucef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Fodil Ouar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Braintree United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 96 minutes into the match, Hoddesdon's goal looked a bit too open when Amine Chadl came free, but Sofiane Benyoucef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 98 minutes, Fodil Ouar made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hoddesdon's Sofiane Benyoucef tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Braintree United were the better team. Braintree United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
