Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ahmis Sadmi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sofyane Zeghdoud's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Rachid Boukhari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ALGHRP's Sofyane Zeghdoud got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sofyane Zeghdoud in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmis Sadmi saved Formby United from getting behind. Sofyane Zeghdoud struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ahmis Sadmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALGHRP. ALGHRP's Nadir Baïri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mebarek Bensari in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofyane Zeghdoud in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmis Sadmi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Boukhari got free with Ahmis Sadmi in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 53 played minutes, ALGHRP's Nasreddine Boulahfane shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmis Sadmi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ALGHRP reached it. Nadir Baïri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nadim Khabatou in the 59th minute. Afalawas Zerouali took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmis Sadmi. Formby United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sofyane Zeghdoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nadir Baïri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nadim Khabatou in the 82nd minute. Ahmis Sadmi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rachid Boukhari's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Jabar Beaufort notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Formby United's Ahmis Sadmi. Ahmis Sadmi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ALGHRP fans cheered their team off the field, for while Formby United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
