The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Castle Donington's goalkeeper Fawzi Benichou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zinedine Diafat. Belvedere United's Wellen Ihaddaden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abou Bakr Nabil in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Mourad Benbrahim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellen Ihaddaden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Belvedere United got a freekick which was hit by Karim Benichou. 26 minutes into the match, Adza Sahraoui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wellen Ihaddaden. Belvedere United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adza Sahraoui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Castle Donington's Fawzi Benichou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baddi Mihoubi in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Mourad Benbrahim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellen Ihaddaden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Castle Donington's goal looked a bit too open when Baddi Mihoubi came free, but Fawzi Benichou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djamel Allag hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Castle Donington booed when Belvedere United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djamel Allag didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Belvedere United defense, Adza Sahraoui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellen Ihaddaden. The Belvedere United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellen Ihaddaden should have stopped the shot.

Abou Bakr Nabil succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 52nd playminute. Adza Sahraoui kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Belvedere United's Wellen Ihaddaden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Belvedere United from getting a goal against them. Wellen Ihaddaden made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mourad Benbrahim sent off a good shot on target. Castle Donington's Fawzi Benichou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelmalek Amrouni in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Abdelmalik Boukhari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belvedere United's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelmalik Boukhari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fawzi Benichou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mourad Benbrahim in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellen Ihaddaden saved Belvedere United from getting behind. Cherif Lacen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wellen Ihaddaden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourad Benbrahim in the 94th minute of play. Belvedere United's Wellen Ihaddaden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adza Sahraoui in the 97th minute of play. Castle Donington played a much better game than Belvedere United and deserved their victory. The Belvedere United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
