Zahid Saïfi was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Chabane Sandjak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chabane Sandjak really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 11 minutes Newcastle's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dylan Bruel who took care of the corner kick. Dylan Bruel made a great header on Espérance Algérienne's corner, it was just that Newcastle's Zahid Saïfi managed to reach the ball for a save. Newcastle's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chabane Sandjak 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Chabane Sandjak notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Newcastle's Zahid Saïfi. Zahid Saïfi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nadir Ahmed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mareks Hamšík, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mokhtar Segni struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Zahid Saïfi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espérance Algérienne. If Mareks Hamšík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zahid Saïfi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khaled Belkheir went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mareks Hamšík in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nadir Ahmed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Espérance Algérienne's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dylan Bruel in the 34th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Saïf Khadra heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mokhtar Segni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Zahid Saïfi made a huge save. Zahid Saïfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chabane Sandjak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mokhtar Segni scored 5-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zahid Saïfi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Djamil Ayad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zahid Saïfi. Newcastle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Djamil Ayad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Zahid Saïfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chabane Sandjak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zahid Saïfi was a little too slow when Chabane Sandjak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Djamil Ayad was the one to do the kick off. When Dylan Bruel came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Espérance Algérienne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan Bruel couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle's zone, Dylan Bruel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zahid Saïfi came out of the goal and Dylan Bruel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Newcastle's goal looked a bit too open when Khaled Belkheir came free, but Zahid Saïfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Newcastle got a freekick which was hit by Yacine Bachdjerrah. Zahid Saïfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamil Ayad in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chabane Sandjak in the 64th minute of play forced Newcastle's goalkeeper Zahid Saïfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nadir Ahmed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fouad Zerara in the 65th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Chabane Sandjak sped through Newcastle's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zahid Saïfi. Zahid Saïfi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mokhtar Segni went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Newcastle's Zahid Saïfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamil Ayad in the 75th minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, Espérance Algérienne's Djamil Ayad made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zahid Saïfi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zahid Saïfi came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Espérance Algérienne's Djamil Ayad. But to his dismay, Djamil Ayad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Zahid Saïfi came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Espérance Algérienne's Chabane Sandjak. But to his dismay, Chabane Sandjak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Sid Ahmed Fadhil kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Djamil Ayad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zahid Saïfi. Newcastle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Djamil Ayad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. In the 96th match minute, Newcastle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fouad Zerara to maneuver through the defense. Zahid Saïfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamil Ayad in the 97th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Newcastle's Yacine Bachdjerrah got a free kick in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Espérance Algérienne had played much better football throughout.
