Spectators: 9720 (Terracing: 7000, Seating: 2503, VIP seats: 217) Mareks Hamšík who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Wellen Ihaddaden when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mareks Hamšík did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Wellen Ihaddaden 11 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Mareks Hamšík put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wellen Ihaddaden. 30 minutes into the match, Newcastle's goal looked a bit too open when Zinedine Diafat came free, but Zahid Saïfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newcastle's Zahid Saïfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baddi Mihoubi in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Newcastle defense, Achour Mammeri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zahid Saïfi. The Newcastle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zahid Saïfi should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelmalik Boukhari to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naïm Klouchi in the 54th minute of play forced Newcastle's goalkeeper Zahid Saïfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Fouad Zerara notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Belvedere United's Wellen Ihaddaden. Wellen Ihaddaden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes of play, Newcastle's Mareks Hamšík made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wellen Ihaddaden was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mareks Hamšík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 69 minutes, Amar Yahi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle and the Belvedere United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Amar Yahi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mareks Hamšík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Wellen Ihaddaden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Abdelmalik Boukhari reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zahid Saïfi. The goal made the score 5-2. In the 79th minute of the match Erasmo Macera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wellen Ihaddaden skillfully saved the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match, Achour Mammeri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zahid Saïfi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Mareks Hamšík's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellen Ihaddaden was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the game, Abdelmalek Amrouni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belvedere United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle the free kick. Abdelmalek Amrouni kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
