Nuno Russo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ailton Da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Nuno Russo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Carvoeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 47 played minutes Chaffley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Almedia. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Flores made a kick off. Cláudio Carvoeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Nuno Russo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Miguel Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Ailton Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
