Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Custódio Pereira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcelo Montinho was a little too slow when Ailton Duarte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 2nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Wembley's Marcelo Montinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Wembley from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Montinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ailton Duarte in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Swanmore's Ailton Da Costa got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Custódio Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ailton Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marcelo Montinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Marcelo Montinho managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Swanmore's Flavio Godinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flavio Godinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ailton Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Montinho having to interfere. Edmundo Regalado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Godinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Montinho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Custódio Pereira in the 41st minute of play forced Swanmore's goalkeeper Nuno Russo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Edmundo Regalado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wembley's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Regalado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Russo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Swanmore getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rodrigo Da Costa hit a great ball. Flavio Godinho struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Marcelo Montinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swanmore. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ailton Duarte was the one to do the kick off. Edmundo Regalado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Russo having to interfere. Pedro Viegas hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Edmundo Valies's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Russo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Custódio Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Russo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Montinho came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Swanmore's Ailton Duarte. But to his dismay, Ailton Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Wembley getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Edmundo Valies hit a great ball. Swanmore's Flavio Godinho got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Montinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ailton Duarte's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Flavio Godinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Montinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Godinho in the 88th minute of play forced Wembley's goalkeeper Marcelo Montinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ailton Duarte in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Montinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ailton Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nito Ezequiel Niz charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nito Ezequiel Niz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Viegas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Montinho. Wembley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Swanmore's Ailton Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Swanmore walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
