Nito Nascimento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hélio Serineu. Berkhamsted's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 6th match minute, FUEGO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nito Maurtio to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Teta Jacinto could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Rodrigo Ramos however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 11 minutes, João Carlos Firmino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berkhamsted's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Carlos Firmino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Albertino Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teta Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Ramos made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, FUEGO FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Firmino came free, but Rodrigo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, João Carlos Firmino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rodrigo Ramos, passed just outside the right post. In the 32nd minute Evaristo Maurito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Serineu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Mendes took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélio Serineu. Hélio Serineu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 46th play minute Teta Jacinto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodrigo Ramos. 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Maurito to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teta Jacinto during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Berkhamsted got a freekick which was hit by Teta Jacinto. 53 minutes into the match, Berkhamsted's goalkeeper Hélio Serineu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heitor Mendes. Evaristo Maurito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hélio Serineu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Evaristo Maurito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heitor Mendess short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Hélio Serineu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Heitor Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Pedro Ericeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berkhamsted and the FUEGO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Carlos Firmino went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 80th match minute, FUEGO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, João Carlos Firmino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Teta Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FUEGO FC booed when Berkhamsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Ericeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Evaristo Maurito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Hélio Serineu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
