Magno Lourenço charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magno Lourenço the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Magno Lourenço hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With his leg Hélio Serineu managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when SCPILHA's Magno Lourenço fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Afonso Lima Clemente came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Berkhamsted's Pedro Ericeira . But to his dismay, Pedro Ericeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Afonso Lima Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Firmino in the 23rd minute of play. Afonso Lima Clemente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Lando in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Ericeira in the 27th minute of play forced SCPILHA's goalkeeper Afonso Lima Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, SCPILHA's goal looked a bit too open when Teta Jacinto came free, but Afonso Lima Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, João Carlos Firmino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Hélio Serineu managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when SCPILHA's Magno Lourenço fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

It was beautiful to see Berkhamsted's Quim Moco in action when he in the 93rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Berkhamsted played a much better game than SCPILHA and deserved their victory. The SCPILHA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
